The KANPE leadership team met this weekend to put our heads together to set the course for our work in 2010-2011.

We accomplished a great deal and are ready to launch our activities for the fall and winter!

In the works:  meetings for the KANPE ambassadors and for anyone interested in volunteering with KANPE, as well as a campaign to which we hope everyone will contribute.

Things are moving along at an exciting pace.  Our partners from PIH/Zanmi Lasante and Fonkoze were with us in Québec, to solidify plans for our work on the ground.  They have been delivering vital services to the poor in Haiti for over 20 years, and said to us “you are already making a difference” – wonderful words of encouragement for KANPE, an organization that has only just begun to take its first steps!

We will be back in touch the week of September 8 with details and dates for our fall and winter events.
