Another flagship project in 2025: we will be constructing a multifunctional community park in Chapelle, a neighboring community to Baille Tourible where KANPE is currently established. This project addresses an urgent need: many young adults are returning to rural areas like Chapelle to escape urban violence. However, the lack of opportunities exacerbates their distress and increases the risks associated with vulnerability factors.

This park will provide a stimulating and inclusive space for youth and adults alike, promoting community interaction and well-being. It will be equipped with solar powered charging stations with internet access, outdoor exercise facilities, and tables for board games such as dominoes, chess, and cards. The community-provided land and use of eco-friendly materials will enhance its longterm impact.

This project, initiated at the request of local youth, will:

• Engage young people in intellectual and physical activities to channel their energy positively.
• Strengthen community bonds through intergenerational tournaments.
• Encourage physical activity with accessible sports equipment.
• Beautify the environment with the addition of trees, flowers, and thoughtful lighting.
• Promote inclusivity by organizing women’s tournaments, ensuring equitable participation.
