Arcade Fire, the group that has supported KANPE since the very beginning, will be playing an open-air concert tonight, september 22nd, as part of the Pop Montreal Festival, at Place des Festivals in the heart of Montreal.

KANPE hopes that you will visit one of its information booths at this event. Among the items that will be available for sale is the book “Soulever les montagnes – L’œuvre du docteur Paul Farmer”, by Tracy Kidder, published by Éditions du Boréal, whose preface is signed by our great Ambassador Régine Chassagne. You are also welcome to purchase a t-shirt bearing our logo, the beautiful hummingbird, and to enjoy KANPE tea, a creation of the Montreal company DAVIDs TEA.

Come and meet us this evening starting at 6 p.m to learn more about our vision, our ambassadors program, or simply to say hello. KANPE’s booths will be at the corner of St. Urbain and St. Catherine and at the corner of St. Urbain and Maisonneuve Boulevard. Don’t be surprised if you run into one of our ambassadors in the surrounding area – they are always eager to answer your questions.

Among the 100,000 spectators expected tonight are the 100 donors who answered Arcade Fire’s call to support KANPE; they will be seated in the VIP area. KANPE would like to thank all of its donors once again, and to take this opportunity to thank Arcade Fire for all of their generosity and support! Donations allow KANPE to offer its comprehensive program to more than 300 Haitian families, impacting the lives of 6,000 people of Baille Tourible.
