KANPE at the Clinton Global Initiative

September 23, 2024

A KANPE team is attending the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) this week in New York City. This prestigious event brings together world leaders, philanthropists, and changemakers to tackle global challenges and create lasting solutions. For KANPE, it’s a powerful opportunity to showcase our work and explore new partnerships to further our mission in Haiti’s Central Plateau.

The KANPE delegation includes both our co-founders, Régine Chassagne, co-leader of the Grammy-winning band Arcade Fire, Dominique Anglade, leader in politics, economics and academia in Canada, our Executive Director, Jennifer Brown, who is leading KANPE’s efforts on expanding our programs and impact; and Ronald Vigue, our newly appointed Director of Fundraising, bringing over 15 years of experience in raising funds for humanitarian causes.

Together, they will represent KANPE’s mission of empowering the most vulnerable communities in Haiti to achieve autonomy and share KANPE’s success stories, particularly our work in leadership, agroforestry, and youth-led initiatives to combat climate change.

The Clinton Global Initiative provides a unique platform for KANPE to engage with potential donors and partners, explore synergies, and strengthen the impact of our work. We are excited to forge new collaborations that will allow us to expand our programs and create even more opportunities for families in the Central Plateau.
