New Cases of Cholera Treated in Baille Tourible
October 22, 2013
Throughout 2012, the clinic had no recorded cases of cholera. But suddenly, in July 2013, a new cholera epidemic hit Baille Tourible, following a heavier rainy season than the previous year. The Ministry of Public Health’s resources were made available to Zanmi Lasante, one of KANPE’s partners, to care for the ill. A doctor and two nursing assistants were hired to deal with this epidemic.
