The successes of this year highlight the strength of the communities where KANPE is established. In 2024, KANPE furthered its commitment to communities in the Central Plateau by forging key partnerships. These collaborations provided women and youth with the expertise necessary to develop and ensure the long-term success of their projects, thus strengthening their autonomy.

Our microcredit project has reached its fifth cycle with an exceptional 100% repayment rate. Women’s associations have launched their own credit initiatives.

We’ve made progress on other fronts: building the KANPE house, creating a third model forest, expanding into four new communities with experimental farms, seed banks, and soil conservation projects. In partnership with GAFE, we also launched a beekeeping project, developed a medicinal plant garden, and held eco-responsibility training sessions.
