Anya Fouché – Fundraising and Programs Coordinator
Anya Fouché has been the Coordinator of Fundraising and Programs at the KANPE Foundation since September 2024. Her journey with the Foundation began in 2016 when she completed an internship as part of the KANAVAL event. She later worked as a contractor before joining the permanent team.
Anya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Montreal and a graduate diploma (DESS) in Cultural Organization Management from HEC Montreal. She is also pursuing graduate studies in Anthropology.
In Montreal, Anya gained solid experience in event planning and fundraising for cultural projects, becoming familiar with non-profit management. Her international experiences are equally rich: she worked as a contract dancer in China, organized artistic retreats in New York and India, and obtained yoga certifications. These adventures have broadened her perspectives on social and cultural issues.
In her current role, Anya bridges the teams based in Montreal, Haiti, and the United States. Although born and residing in Montreal, Anya grew up in Haiti, which allows her to naturally create connections between these two cultures.
