Isabelle Thibault – Executive Director

Isabelle is the Executive Director of the KANPE Foundation. She has over 15 years of experience as an account director and manager for many of the most notable advertising agencies in Quebec (Sid Lee, DentsuBos, Cossette) and was in charge of more than a hundred major projects (Fido, Loto-Québec, Coppertone, Volkswagen, non-profits and public agencies). Isabelle is a celebrated and enthusiastic leader whose main focuses include strategic planning and orientation, as well as field work and team management.

Born in the Outaouais Region, she has traveled the world (throughout Asia, Europe, Central America and the Caribbean), both for leisure and volunteer or work related engagments in International Development. Isabelle participated in field missions with The Arias Foundation for Peace and Human Progress and CEFEMINA in Costa Rica, Salcedo’s Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic and Plan Nagua in Nicaragua and Honduras, and was actively involved with the Canadian International Development Agency as well. These experiences have provided her with a widened humanistic outlook and a well-rounded understanding of North-South issues. She is also locally involved with the L’Étoile filante alternative primary school in Montreal.

Isabelle has a post-graduate diploma in Marketing Communications (with distinction) from HEC Montréal and a bachelor’s in Business Administration from Sherbrooke University, supplemented with undergraduate studies at the University of Costa Rica.

Spirited with great passion for KANPE’s mission, Isabelle works together with the team and the board to tackle all of the key components of the Foundation’s future: program development, partnerships, funding sustainability and outreach. She hopes to steer KANPE in a clear direction, crowned with many successes, to allow the most vulnerable Haitian families to reach autonomy.
