Jean-Germain Duvelsaint – Project Manager Haiti

Jean-Germain Duvelsaint has been a Project Manager at KANPE in Haiti since February 2022.

Nicknamed Maestro in the community of Baille Tourible, he has been teaching music to the youth of the marching band since 2014. He is also KANPE’s local photographer, which allows us to document our activities on the ground.

After high school, Jean-Germain studied accounting in Hinche. But his true passion is music, which he has made his mission to share with the youth of his community.

It all started with a four-year music course with World Vision. He continued to improve his skills through training seminars with the Holy Trinity congregation in Port-au-Prince and Cange. He then began teaching music in several schools in Plateau Central.

Maestro believes that music helps young people discover their full potential. He is proud to work alongside a hardworking and ambitious population.
