September 30, 2013
The KANPE Nutrition Program began operating on a regular basis in May 2013 at the Clinic of Baille Tourible. Théodonna Louis (sitting at the table in the below photo), the nurse in charge of the program, is responsible for a total of 117 malnourished children. Once a month, the clinic receives from Zanmi Lasante – a partnering organization of KANPE in Haiti – supplies of Nourimanba and Plumpy’nut (peanut-based supplement) to aid in the children’s healthcare.
