Christian wants to leave a better environment to the younger generations

March 13, 2024

Christian Pierre has been a farmer and tradesman in Baille Tourible for several decades. A father of five children who has also adopted two others, he is deeply attached to his community. It was with great pleasure that he agreed to take an active part in soil conservation work.

For Christian, soil conservation is much more than just an agricultural initiative. It’s a way of combating erosion and preserving the land that is essential to the survival and prosperity of his community. He sees agriculture as an invaluable asset, not only for providing for his family, but also for educating his children and leaving a better environment for younger generations.

Through his work and commitment, he firmly believes that agriculture can solve many of the challenges facing his community, helping to reverse the cycle of poverty in Baille Tourible.
