The rainy weather last Sunday in the Central Plateau in Haiti did not prevent Baille Tourible from celebrating the International Women’s Day with great fanfare.

A colorful parade, to the sound of the marching band, crossed the city in joy and good humour. Lectures, songs, theater performance, and dance also highlighted the contribution of women to the community
