The KANPE Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Brown as Executive Director. Jennifer joined KANPE in February 2020 and had been serving as interim Executive Director since March 2022. 

“On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I want to thank Jennifer for agreeing to take the reins of the Foundation. We are delighted to be able to count on her extensive expertise in the philanthropic community. We are confident that she will be able to meet the challenges of developing the organization and deploying its actions in the field over the next few years,” said Déborah Cherenfant, Chair of the Board of Directors of KANPE.

“It is with great humility that I begin this new mandate within the KANPE Foundation,” said Jennifer Brown. “Over the past few years, I have come to know a wonderful community in Haiti that is working very hard to ensure a better future for the next generation. We will continue to work with them to expand partnerships and help them find the resources they need to thrive.”

Jennifer Brown has nearly 20 years of experience in philanthropic management and international development with non-profit organizations, as well as with international cooperation and humanitarian organizations. Prior to joining KANPE, she was responsible for developing partnerships with foundations for Crossroads International project funding. Prior to that, she worked for over 10 years as a consultant with one of Canada’s largest philanthropic development consulting firms.
