The marching band resumes its activities

November 25, 2020

The Baille Tourible marching band resumed its activities at the end of the summer to the joy of the 80 young people who are a part of it. After several months, the young people started playing their favorite instruments again under the direction of their music teacher, Jean Germain Duvelsaint.

For the occasion, a rigorous security protocol has been put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Founded in 2014 at the request of the youth of Baille Tourible, the marching band became a way for them to regain confidence, develop their leadership skills, and get involved in their community. Moreover, the marching band is helping to slow the rural exodus of these adolescents who have become role models for the youngest in their community and the pride of all.
