Expanding Our Impact
At KANPE, our focus is on the future. With over 15 years of on-the-ground experience, we have entered a new phase: extending our integrated model to additional communities across Haiti.
At the request of local communities, we are broadening our impact by strengthening what already works—programs that are rooted in, and led by, the communities themselves.
Our mission remains the same: to address the root causes of poverty by empowering women, girls, and youth to become agents of change and social justice.
Leadership
We will continue to train, support, and connect local associations in each community. Young leaders from Baille Tourible, already trained by KANPE, will share their knowledge and guide new associations.
Goal: Make leadership a generational force and ensure that every voice can actively participate in local decision-making.
Entrepreneurship and Economic Development
We will continue funding community social enterprises, such as seed banks and livestock projects.
We are also expanding our microcredit programs to enable more women and youth to invest in their future.
These initiatives will strengthen local economies, making them more self-sufficient and less dependent on external aid.
Agroforestry
We will implement agricultural training in every new community to increase yields, secure harvests, and protect the soil.
Objective: Combat food insecurity while rehabilitating the environment.
Education
We are expanding access to primary and secondary education in four new communities by building classrooms and training teachers.
Because every child has the right to learn and dream of a better future.
Healthcare
We will establish mobile clinics, networks of community health workers, and new partnerships to strengthen access to care in isolated areas.
Healthcare is a fundamental right and a key lever for autonomy.
Infrastructure
We will construct sustainable community infrastructure designed to support education, health, agriculture, and communal life:
- Community Oasis with a digital library, multipurpose room, and resources for sustainable agriculture
- Retaining walls, silos, and seed banks
- Buildings equipped with solar energy to reduce dependence on fuel
