As 2025 comes to a close, the word that comes to mind for me is perseverance. This year marks an important milestone for KANPE: 15 years of standing alongside the most underserved communities of Haiti’s Central Plateau.
The journey has not been easy. Yet progress is real, because we believed, we persevered, and we chose to keep moving forward despite uncertainty.
Today, the communities we support are stronger than they were 15 years ago. Young people are more confident, better trained, and better equipped to pursue their dreams. Women are taking on a greater role in the local economy. Community leaders are stepping forward. Families now have access to water and more fertile land—resources that are vital in rural communities.
Above all, the past 15 years have taught us that lasting change is built step by step, through vision, listening, collaboration, and consistency.
During this holiday season, we want to thank you for standing with us—and with rural communities in Haiti. Your support helps transform the daily lives of thousands of young people and women, and helps develop leaders capable of guiding their communities toward autonomy.
